Pain-free Performance for Life

Carl's Bio

In 1991, Carl Sheusi broke his neck. A diving accident began his decades-long path of personal healing and transformation, which includes extensive study and practice of yoga asana, philosophy, and the healing and therapeutic arts.

As an advanced student and yoga practitioner, Carl has completed multiple teacher training programs in New York City, New Jersey and Amsterdam in both the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Anusara yoga systems. He has taught workshops, public and private classes from the 1990's to date.

Studying Big Mind meditation with Zen Master Genpo Roshi, in 2010 Carl was formally ordained into the Soto lineage of Zen Buddhism by Master Genpo himself.

After completing a 12-month psychotherapy based coaching intensive at the Open Center in New York City, Carl earned his Certified Professional Coach (CPC) license through the International Coaching Federation in 2008.

Since 2014 he has studied extensively with MELT (Myofascial Energetic Length Technique) Method creator Sue Hitzmann and has earned certification as a MELT NeuroStrength instructor. The MELT system is a simple method of self-care that can be customized to your particular

needs – from improving performance to eliminating chronic pain.

Carl relocated to Miami Beach in 2015, where he maintains a private practice of wellness coaching and counseling clientele. Carl can always be found assiduously progressing in his dual roles of devoted mentor to many and an eternal student of life's most profound mysteries.
